About Me
Coming from France, I am currently Media and Campaign Manager at Save the Children Deutschland. Prior to this, I worked from November 2015 to August 2023 as Media and Communications Manager as well as the head of European projects at Citizens For Europe gUG (CFE), a Berlin based non-profit NGO and social business that works across Europe to foster a more inclusive, democratic and participatory society. I took on a variety of roles and tasks that call on my strong organisational and coordination skills as well as my expertise and creativity in writing, video-making, design and photography.
I was managing the Multi-Channel communication and press relations of CFE and creating multimedia formats that promoted the organisation and projects. I was also responsible for the production of the audio-visual documentation and video contents for the projects such as educational videos, image films, presentation videos and podcasts.
I was also involved in the design and implementation of transnational Multi-Stakeholders’ cooperations and projects. During 2 years, I was the head of the project Democratic Innovations in Youth Work. In the past, I co-managed various European projects such as the European Democracy Network, CHIEF, NiCeR and You&me. On top, I was also organising, facilitating and moderating European multi-Stakeholder meetings, trainings and workshops.
I hold a M.A. in Journalism (option Audio-visual), a Bachelor in Education Sciences, a certificate as EU Media Trainer and a two-year university degree in foreign languages applied to Politics, Economics and Law. I grew up in Brittany (France) and have been living in Berlin since October 2006. After my studies in 2004, I worked as a journalist and camerawoman for various mainstream TV channels and print media from Guadeloupe (Caribbean), France and Germany.
In 2010, I volunteered for Video Volunteers’ Community News Service India Unheard. This experience changed my life and I decided to dedicate my communication and film-making skills to civil society organisations engaged in social and political change. I started to give media trainings to civil society actors and activists, and to produce videos all over the world for foundations and non-profits such as Misereor, SOS Children's Villages and Malteser International (see more references below).
As a trained video journalist and media trainer, I plan and implement media projects and create new media pedagogical concepts. I mainly accompany and lead international groups of teenagers and young adults in the creation of media products with a focus on film production, civic engagement and intercultural competences.
On top of French, I am fluent in English, German and Spanish. I have basic knowledge of Greek and Italian.
